My favorite of the new shows, isn't really new. It started this summer, I think, because we've seen a number of episodes already. It's The Good Guys. I think I might like the supernatural one based on some Stephen King story too, but I haven't completely made up my mind on that one. --I should probably look up the Stephen King story some time too. The thing is -- like most of the female main character shows that are out now -- she needs a flaw or a quirk or something that makes her interesting. Not a 'save me you big strong man' weakness, but something. Her male partner has the feel-no-pain thing, and you can see the weakness in that, but what does she have? I fix things is not a weakness. It could be a quirk, I guess, but it's really not that interesting.Things I'm happy to have back: Castle. The Big Bang Theory. Modern Family and Cougar Town (yeah, those surprised me too) Burn Notice (when it comes back the second time), Psych, and Leverage. Oh, Bones and House too.And Human Target, which I think should have been back already, but Tivo hasn't given me any new episodes. I'll have to check that out too. Glad I asked this question today to make myself think about it. Why, Tivo, why??? Or should I be screaming 'Why, Studio Executives, why???'?--Oh, ummm, hmmm. Perhaps that was a little premature. IMDb says it comes back in November.
