Temporarily Crippled

I pulled a muscle in my shoulder or my back -- or the latest cold has become a chest infection, but only in my right lung. I can't move that arm, breathe, bend, stand or sit, without this feeling of being stabbed in the back with an ice pick.

This, as you can imagine, is somewhat limiting.

If I was more psychologically inclined, I might suggest that I have a fear of failure (or success) and it's manifesting in physical symptoms that keep me too ill to work in the career path I've chosen. Right now I don't even have anything ready to query.

Sigh.

Well, I'll write more when I can use both hands (without pain) on the keyboard.

  1. Pneumonia. I ended up going to the ER last night because it hurt too much to breathe, and I have been vindicated as not being crazy. Or at least not quite so crazy.
