He stopped being gay. Or so he says.
My reaction on reading the article, disbelief and confusion, does not seem to have been unique based on the comments here or on digg, where I found this one.
Read the article. Note the internal contradictions, the oddity that he seems to express the opinion that homosexuality is for hopping from bed to bed while hetero is for commitment. Note the long involved descriptions almost drooling over the father in the beginning that made him straight.
Is this a Poe's Law style parody as so many commenters seem to think or is he serious and self-deluded enough to not notice the problems even within his narrative?
I could see it either way.
Just a reminder that not everyone needs to be, or can be, rational about all things.
