So far behind. I should be at 18,337 words, but I am at 11,600. But I have six chapters of a new story. My characters are taking shape and I've killed one of them already.
Do you know how hard it is to get past mourning if someone dies in chapter two?
Well, it's not easy.
The rest of you should think of that before you kill someone that early. Maybe making it someone less loved would be better. At least someone not loved quite so much by the main character. Sigh. Oh, damn, grandma's dead, well, let's go on an adventure. No, doesn't sound right to me either, but how much sad can I write? How much sad can people read? Probably not this much. Oh well. Onward ho!
