Nicole's last day of the cycle ...Glarg indeed. Nicole's last day of the cycle is tomorrow, so I'll be wrapping the teacher gift tonight. And yes, I am all about the online. So far, almost every gift I've purchased is sitting in an Amazon box. The neighbors and the daycare will get cookies from Cheryl & Co, and my grandparents will get a tower delivered from Harry and David. All online stuff. But it's still on my to-do list, rather than my done list.

And cards. Yep - still need to do that too.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11727850775729604812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5752265769980657739.post-47716707541231941002010-12-08T18:56:00.512-05:002010-12-08T18:56:00.512-05:00Dammit. I forgot the teachers.

And I wanted to give my doctor and Nurse Judy something too since they did actually save my life this year, but I was thinking of making them Monster mini purses. (Monster seems to be the most popular) I wonder if I should make some for the teachers too -- or if being K-2 teachers they're sick of cutesy kiddie stuff. (Alaina has two teachers and an intern.)

Have you tried shopping online? Amazon shipped straight to your door and shopping from your desk. It's one of my favorites -- and if you have an email, you can check for a wishlist.

We did Christmas cards last year for distance people and I haven't done that yet. I probably need to put that on the list too. Mega-sigh.

Yes, I see what you mean. It's the errand list. It'...Every year I like December less and less. It's become so full of obligations that there is zero time left for any enjoyment. There are so many people to buy gifts for, and it stresses me out. I'm not talking about family - it's the teachers, and the neighbors, and the coaches and scouting leaders. Those are the ones that I have trouble with. I've heard of people gifting mailpeople and hairdressers too. And do I give my staff of one something? Even though she's Indian and doesn't celebrate Christmas? It's just stressful. I wish I only had to gift the people who live with me - much more manageable. It's not that I don't appreciate these people - I do. But four weeks for someone who works outside the home with a long-ish commute every day is just not enough time for anything except stress.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11727850775729604812noreply@blogger.com
